The cell phones of today have gradually grown in power and technology. They went from small analog type of games and texting, to the digital LED screens that have great graphics and can play movies and music. Now cell phones can take digital photos and many have a camcorder and, best of all, they can connect to the internet and download and send email. The new phones even have Bluetooth capabilities. That is big technology shrunk into a little device that we call cell phones.
The screens in the new cell phones have the same screens that some TVs have in them. It is either LED or a plasma screen. It has the ability along with other technology to play movies, vides and even music videos. This is a giant step because phones used to be able to just be dialed. For goodness sakes, some of the phones now even have touch screens so you do not have to mess with dialing the buttons and wearing them out. The mp3 players are a grand invention and are widely used in all cell phones.
The music capability of the cell phone mp3 player is amazing. You can select a song and listen to it with or without headphones. And it is just as clear as playing a compact disc in one of your players. You can listen to your music and when you get a call, the music is paused and starts automatically when you finish your phone conversation.
The ability to share info over a cell tower is amazing and they call this ability Bluetooth. This can be used to give each other pictures, ring tones, videos and full songs. The two phones have to be within a few feet of each other and then it has to search and find the other persons phone. Then the information can be sent.
Speaking of sending photos, most phones come equipped with a digital camera and camcorder now. Cameras in phones, what a concept! Now you can take professional grade digital photos on your camera and you can also record a twenty minute video on your phone and play it back on the built in camcorder. This footage just plays back like a regular colored camcorder and looks amazing, like it is playing on a TV without all of the shaking of the original camcorder. Perhaps the most amazing of all abilities is the way it can connect to the internet.
Many cell phones give you a handheld pc at your fingertips. You can connect to the internet and download movies, music and pictures and you can play games and send and check your email. That is remarkable! You can also send pictures and movies over the internet just like from your laptop, but a lot smaller and lighter. We all know that the internet is limitless and being able to access the internet via your cell phone eliminates the need to have an office desk for many business professionals. The cell phone is a great piece of digital equipment that has advanced farther and farther in the last few years.
